Not superb

Well, here's for an honest response:

1/ If you're starting in animtion, then yah, sticks are the way to go, but only if you're starting

2/ I am not much of an animator but for sweat, you should probably update forms and look into alpha channels if that's the term used in this case (transparency...)

3/ If ou do pursue in sticks, either increase the frame rate and put a bit more into it, or do something witty with them (simplest is form modification /= transfomation)

4/ hope to see more soon

Probably something to do with it being more "simple" then "talentless"

It is not worth much *on its own*, but I do await a fuller version.

Piece o nothing

A series of panels where the banana is swearing (and it's not even clever swearing)

Damn, I thought this would have been permanently removed.

1/ No graphics of your own - okay, well a few, but hardly worth any attention
2/ No plot - I know this ain't a book. It's a cartoon, fine. But either have a plot or some witty ideas. Random swearing does not qualify (unless that, in itself, is original and witty, however vulgar it may turn out.)
3/ No animation - well, I don't qualify static objects moving around as animation. I could do the same with JavaScript in a web page. That's saying "that's not talent".
4/ This is obviously the work of an underacheiver who thinks that swearing is funny in itself.

Advice:
1/ watch the top 100 of the portal - there are plenty of rude and/or violent things there along with the rest. The difference is: they're original
2/ Watch a few episodes of Family Guy, or the Simpsons - they're vulgar, nonsensical and illogical - but they're witty
3/if you can't do any of those, do it as an art form. There are plent of cartoons with no plot and no dialogue but are just good for the quality of animation

And if you can't do that, go do some homework

PS: no I don't animate. Do you play music, make films or paint 50 by 30 foot paintings that take a third of a life time? I don't think so. But It doesn't stop you from criticising any of them quite rightly. So don't whine.

Not really that good

Hate to be a spoil sport but I really didn't see any point to that...

I'm aware that the craze about the Olsen twins is overdone and all and quite personally they don't come accross to me as the best of people... But if we are going to slag them off at least do something that's *more* intelligent than them rather than ABSOLUTLEY TASTELES AND BRAINLESS...

I dunno... I think I'm getting too old for teen humour...

In any case I expect a bit more wit in future toons...

I'm not really very impressed... Not at all in fact. Anyone who dislikes the French should be loving this not hating it...

In any case I find it quite distasteful and a tad bit insulting...

This said, the cleverest can laugh at themselves...

Just please make it a bit more witty next time...

I watched this for its good rating...

I must say this is the first SWF I have watched and disagreed with its rating... Well I guess you can't please everyone... it has humbled me.

On the other side, regarding the flash itself:

1/ Corny dialogues, cheesy at best

2/ Take a look at a dictionary one day. You use strong and eloquent words but it seems to me you don't know their precise meaning (to redeem does not mean to earn or to gain for ex)

I don't mean to be rude, but you should probably read a few more epic poetical adventures before writing your own dialogues (again, that doesn't mean I haven't made my own mistakes in my own time.. but as a 'performing' artist you should be more wary)

3/ The animation was okay however the actions do not "flow" too well the charactes still look a bit static to me...

4/ Please please please research Ninjas.... Your protagonist looks like a renegade warrior rather than a Ninja...

5/ On a more positive note this is a very nice start to a story, I would like to know what follows

6/ Your artwork is good - the etch marks should be more rounded once transfered to computer but what is there is already very good (and unless they are illutrators - sod anyone who says otherwise!)

All in all, some negatives I have hilighted but a good demonstration of budding talent. Keep it up, I would be interested in seeing your development!
